Men’s Snowboard - Thirtytwo - Cosm 26/27

The ThirtyTwo Volcom COSM is a powerful snowboard for riders who love speed, powder and all-mountain adventure. This board is based on Volcom's shape shift from the Snafu and blends classic Volcom snowboard style with a modern, directional freeride feel. The COSM is built for riders who want to charge hard, follow natural lines and feel confident in a variety of snow conditions.

The COSM’s shape is Tapered Directional. That means the nose is slightly wider and more powerful than the tail, helping the board float more easily in powder and steer more naturally when riding fast down the mountain. The Pow Kick nose and tail rise add extra lift in deep snow and make the board playfully responsive when riding soft snow, slush or sidecountry lines. With a 0.8 inch setback you stand a bit further back, providing more float and control without the board feeling sluggish.

The profile is Directional Camber / Rocker. Underfoot the medium camber provides grip, stability and responsiveness, while the reverse camber in the nose helps the board glide smoothly through powder and variable snow. This makes the COSM feel strong and reliable at speed while remaining forgiving enough for creative riding.

The flex falls into the Happy Medium category. This gives the board a nice balance of power and liveliness. It’s stiff enough for carves, landings and fast lines, yet still accessible and playful for riders who don’t want to ride at maximum aggression all day. The terrain distribution shows where this board excels: 10/10 powder, 9/10 all-mountain and 7/10 Park. So this is primarily a powder and all-mountain board with enough freestyle influence for sidehits and creative tricks.

The construction consists of 20 mm poplar and 20 mm paulownia, delivering a light, lively feel. Directional Carbon Boost Stringers add extra pop and response, while the Biax Fiberglass keeps the board smooth and controllable. With a Premium sintered Base 8.4M, Impact Shield topsheet, hardened steel edges and RailGuard sidewalls the COSM is built for speed, durability and heavy use.

The ThirtyTwo Volcom COSM is perfect for riders looking for a stylish, powerful and powder-focused all-mountain snowboard with genuine Volcom energy.
